Rings and banners…and memories.

Every sport and every season has its challenges, and this year was no exception.  Some tough losses, some nail-biting wins, along with a few injuries here and there could have become huge distractions.

However, you knew that you had to believe in yourself and your abilities in order to play and do your best.  So that's what you did.  You thought positively and ignored any negative energy surrounding you.  You knew how to keep your heads in the game.

Whether you were a starting player or a key back-up, you were at practice every day, working equally hard.  Why?  You are dedicated to this game that brings with it wins and losses, triumphs and disappointments.  Your passion to play gave you the edge both on and off the field, and your commitment to success was rewarded with the school’s first ever New Jersey State Boys Lacrosse Championship!

Congratulations to every member of the West Morris lacrosse organization – players, coaches and statisticians - for a terrific year!  You have made the entire West Morris community proud.

To the senior members of the team, congratulations on outstanding high school lacrosse careers.  We hope you leave with poignant memories of an unforgettable season!  Please accept our best wishes for the future.
